And here's part three, and also last, of the Friday news:

https://www.pcgamer.com/destiny-2-gets-very-green-new-lightfall-gameplay-trailer/
It's been a busy week for Destiny 2 enjoyers. The Season of the Seraph only launched on Tuesday, but thanks to a new trailer that just dropped at The Game Awards tonight, our thoughts are turning to next year's big Lightfall expansion.

Airship Syndicate, the developer of the League of Legends RPG Ruined King, and Warframe publisher Digital Extreme revealed a new project at The Game Awards tonight called Wayfinder, a "character-based online action-RPG" that's slated to come out in 2023.
Nightingale gets a new trailer at The Game Awards
https://www.pcgamer.com/nightingale-gets-a-new-trailer-at-the-game-awards/
Nightingale continues to be one of the most promising games on the horizon. The PvE survival action game got a new trailer at The Game Awards 2022, showcasing, among other things, umbrella gliding.
One of Steam's most wishlisted games has a chaotic new trailer, and is coming early next year
https://www.pcgamer.com/one-of-steams-most-wishlisted-games-has-a-chaotic-new-trailer-and-is-coming-early-next-year/
It's a bit strange to peruse the list of the most-wishlisted games on Steam and see that among Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield, and Hollow Knight: Silksong is a game called Party Animals sitting firm at number five. Yup, more people are waiting to play Party Animals than there are for big ticket games like Ark 2. Incredible.
Meet Your Maker, Behaviour Interactive's base-building-and-raiding game, launches in April
https://www.pcgamer.com/meet-your-maker-behaviour-interactives-base-building-and-raiding-game-launches-in-april/
An all-new trailer for Behaviour Interactive's Meet Your Maker (opens in new tab) debuted at The Game Awards tonight, giving us a new look at gameplay and—this is the important bit—an April 2023 release date.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty stars the only guy cooler than Keanu Reeves: Idris Elba
https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-phantom-liberty-stars-the-only-guy-cooler-than-keanu-reeves-idris-elba/
Keanu Reeves was undeniably the coolest guy in Cyberpunk 2077, but the new trailer shown at The Game Awards for upcoming expansion Phantom Liberty puts his title in serious doubt. His unmistakable voice gave it away before we even saw his face in the trailer: It's Idris Elba. In Cyberpunk 2077. Heck yeah.

Guy crashes Elden Ring GOTY acceptance at The Game Awards, gets arrested
https://www.pcgamer.com/game-awards-elden-ring-guy-stage-ambush-2022/
As a handful of Elden Ring developers stood on stage to accept the award for Game of the Year, they didn't realize an invader was standing right behind them.
Genshin Impact emerges victorious in the bitter Game Awards war against Sonic Frontiers
https://www.pcgamer.com/genshin-impact-emerges-victorious-in-the-bitter-game-awards-war-against-sonic-frontiers/
The Game Awards was such a bizarre fever dream this year. The show alone housed an eight-minute acceptance speech straight off the bat. Then there was the stage-crasher who appeared during Elden Ring's GOTY speech and somehow wasn't immediately booted off. Perhaps the weirdest thing throughout all this, though, has been the bitter fight between the Genshin Impact and Sonic fandoms over the ceremony's most pointless award: the Players' Voice.

Well, things are finally over, and it seems not even Sonic's ultra-passionate community could stop the Genshin Impact train. During The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley awkwardly laughed through the "100% fan-voted category" nominees, adding "you guys were very busy voting the past few days." He even threw in a sly jab at the bot accusations, all but confirming some foul play had taken place. "Once we took out all the bot votes, the game award goes to Genshin Impact."
