I agree with everyone saying about Japan. But they also need to worry about the rest the of the world also. In EU, the UK carries most Microsoft market share. Outside of that, its been Wii or Sony. Unfortunately, I don't think it will change as along as "Microsoft" appears in front of the console. EU countries have denounced Microsoft and EU regulators are in constant battles with Microsoft and its anti trust fines.
Like I said, its next gen console should team up with a Japanexe company like Toshiba or Samsung and get that stick of being a Microsoft owned system off them.
I'm just saying...
