Cyberpunk 2077 gets a 4K High-Resolution Player Faces Texture Pack
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/cyberpunk-2077-gets-a-4k-high-resolution-player-faces-texture-pack/
Modder ‘XilaMonstrr’ has released a new 4K texture pack for Cyberpunk 2077, aiming to overhaul the faces of the playable characters.
According to the modder, the original faces were a bit low-res for today’s standards. As such, and by using chaiNNer and ESRGAN models, they were able to upscale them all by 4X.

This mod brings the dragons from Game of Thrones to Skyrim Special Edition
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/this-mod-brings-the-dragons-from-game-of-thrones-to-skyrim-special-edition/
Modder ‘KaienHash’ has released an amazing mod for Skyrim Special Edition, that adds to it the main three dragons from Game of Thrones. As such, players can expect to see Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion.
Do note that this mod only covers the dragons from Game of Thrones. Dragons that appear in House of the Dragon, like Vhagar or Syrax, are not present.
Furthermore, XilaMonstrr has cleaned these textures of compression artifacts and optimized them for SSE. The modder is currently offering a 16K version of these textures, so we highly recommend downloading them.
>> There's a video of the mod.

The Witcher 3 mods improve LODs for all characters, enemies & objects
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/the-witcher-3-mods-improve-lods-for-characters-enemies-objects/
Modder ‘ScoutBr0’ has released two new mods for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that will significantly improve the LODs and draw distance for all characters, animals, monsters and items.
According to the modder, the mods will increase the rendering distance of a significant portion of the game’s architectural objects. Furthermore, they will reduce/remove multiple LOD from most objects, leaving only the highest-quality version of meshes. Additionally, they will fix/add shadowmeshes in instances where it was incorrect or missing. Not only that, but they will enable window shadows for select buildings in Novigrad.
>> Again, no video but some screenshots.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet gets a 60fps mod for PC
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/pokemon-scarlet-and-violet-gets-a-60fps-mod-for-pc/
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet released earlier this month on Nintendo Switch, and was playable on PC via emulators on launch day. Not only that, but the game ran better on PC when it came out, and PC gamers can now also enjoy it with 60fps.
Although the game is by default locked at 30fps, Nintendo Switch cannot offer a constant 30fps experience. According to numerous reports, there are major and numerous drops below that framerate target. On the PC, however, gamers can play it with constant 30fps.
Modder ‘theboy181’ is currently working on a 60fps mod for the game. In order to showcase their progress, theboy181 shared the following videos. And, as we can see, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can now look silky smooth on PC.

A No Man's Sky standalone app lets you create bases and import them into the game
https://www.pcgamer.com/a-no-mans-sky-standalone-app-lets-you-design-bases-and-import-them-into-the-game/
Here's modding magic for you: A standalone app that allows No Man's Sky players to design large bases, then use a save editor to put them in the game. Dedicated base-builders will find it not just a simpler, but faster, way to make impressive constructions than using the array of tricks and exploits that players use in-game to easily make big stuff.
Modder Charlie Banks, aka DjMonkeyUK, posted the mod to Twitter and Nexus Mods , noting that the tool is very much a work in progress. "There are some missing things compared to the Blender add-on. So bear with any potential bugs and missing things compared to Blender," he said. Nonetheless, playing around with the app is surprisingly simple, even for me—an pretty inexperienced 3D modeler.

Levitation, the all-new story mod for Half-Life: Alyx, is out today
https://www.pcgamer.com/levitation-the-all-new-story-mod-for-half-life-alyx-is-out-today/
Levitation, a mod that continues the story of Valve's hit VR game Half-Life: Alyx, is now available on Steam. The mod picks up right after the events of Half-Life: Alyx, bringing the titular character and her pal Russell back to City 17 to save her friends, and possibly the whole resistance.
Half-Life: Alyx – Levitation has gone from announcement to completion in very short order, especially in comparison to the development of the game itself: It was only revealed in April this year. The final result is scaled back a wee bit from what was initially promised—the story is expected to run 3-4 hours, rather than 4-5—but even so it sounds like a very beefy experience, with eight levels featuring new voice lines and character animations. The launch trailer looks pretty great, too.
