Thus, the FTC joins the fight to ensure Sony dominance and prevent thousands of workers working in less than ideal conditions from joining the top rated company in the matter. A noble fight for sure. Still I'm kind of curious that they file their complaint. Let see if it's beat the horrendous Sony/consumer reference ratio of CMA decision to open an in depth investigation.

Anyway, all of these complaints are so COD-focused that failing the deal is always an extreme scenario for me. At worst, Microsoft is forced to sell the COD franchise. But I'm still ambivalent about whether this would actually be the worst or the best because I don't think it would tie any of the Acti-blizz studios but only the IP so it may have the potential to release many studios to devote themselves to COD and refocus their energy to become creative again.
