I know my friend would be head over heels for a high production version of Fate.

I'm something of a Fate/Nasu fan myself, having watched Stay Night, UBW, Extella + Link (via playthroughs), Kara no Kyoukai (which has two characters playable in FGO, both in my top 5 Nasuverse waifus!), and enjoyed FGO for the few weeks I played it before feeling overwhelmed by all the convolutions and deep lore.

Gacha stinks (didn't spend a cent on FGO) but it made the parties involved an obscene amount of money. I think FGO grossed over $5.1 billion in Japan alone and is still going strong. To put things into perspective, GTA5 (including online/mtx) grossed 7.8 billion globally at 170 million+ copies sold. $5.1 billion is the equivalent of 85 million copies sold at $60 (in Japan alone lol). A Genshin-like version has serious potential.

Isn't the japan revenue in billion Yen? Otherwise this would be fucking huge, well even in yen for a game that is likely on high profit margin against maintenance cost that is very healthy. And yes I abhor this type of mtx and the few games I play I don't put a cent as well, and exvius I'm able to keep top 1000-10000 in all events.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"
