I think 2017 also was cuphead launch , I think Microsoft wanted to buy the developer but decided not too and instead bought 5 other studios in 2018? Cuphead could've been exclusive?

Totally forgot about this one, because I don't know, retrospectively it's hard to say Cuphead is a Microsoft first-party game when it ended up everywhere. And another thing that makes 2017 feel even worse than 2022 is too many game cancellations.
