Spade said: That being said minus that spartan assault shit, Gears of War Judgment is worse than any Halo game. Hate to see it. Idk what the fuck they were thinking on this. So much shit stripped out. Hate the level design, star system, John Cena sucks etc. |
Spade said: Find it funny that Forza Horizon 5 didn't get a GOTY nomination from that shill Jeff for release date, but God of War has with a later release date. |
Technically, Geoff doesn't do the nominations, a collection of journalists do, I still think it's bull that FH5 wasn't nominated though, and it was only because it of its genre.

Be funny if The Coalition's side project was Gears 2 remastered in UE5.

Would I need to have played 4 to enjoy 5 or to even understand the story? |
Yes.
I think Gears 4 is fine with the exception of the Deebees, I always find robots so boring to fight.
Spade said: Beat Judgment... what a meh game. The aftermath was kinda... and i mean kinda fun. Lasted about an hour. Just shows what happened during one part of gears 3 when the team was searching for access to Azura. Despite beating 4 and 5, I don't want to put them in the categories yet, as I played them with not much respect going into it. I think I'll start 4 and 5 once 6 is announced. I'm going to be sad if 6 really is the last Gears |
Full on reboot or soft reboot?

That's optimistic considering Gearbox's only good game is Borderlands
I think it may be for logistical purposes and financial ones, Gearbox is closer to Volition than Deep Silver and since Embracer seems so hands off even financially, I think each publisher division is funding itself, Gearbox is likely richer than Deep Silver.
Or another scenario is that Volition becomes a Borderlands support studio, Lol.
