I forgot to ask you yesterday if you had checked if your adapter was well plugged or not. I hope it is. And well, that statement, and the fact that it's written on the warranty, is reassuring. |
I haven't but I have had my Strix 4090 for nearly a month now while doing heavy benchmarking and a lot of gaming. I am sure if there was any issues with the cable or seating and such, it would have shown up already. While I am and will continue to post news about the cable, I am personally not worried about mine.

I quickly bought some PC parts with slightly discounted. Yay... lmao. Just need PSU, 2TB SSD, AIO and RX 7900XT left. Also, that Razer Blade 18 sounds like fans are gonna scream at you, even it's an office/home gaming laptop class if you excuse. |
I would say to opt for the 7900XTX version instead if the difference in price ends up similar to in the US. Cause the 7900XT vs XTX is only $100 difference but you get more cores, higher clocks, more vram and bigger memory bus. XTX will likely be faster than 4080 in Raster while XT will be very similar to the 4080.
