So, by those tests, the 4080 should end roughly in betwen the 3090Ti and 4090, closer to the former than the later. It would be a great result for a 4070Ti.
And the whole 16-pin connector situation gets worst ech time we find something new. I guess the new finding and the redesign of the connector will solve the problem, but we'll see when it will reach retail products. It's likely too late to include it with the 4070Ti, and I don't think they'll use it for the 4070/4060 and lower cards.
So my guess is with a revision of the 4090 & 4080 in a few months or when the 4090Ti launches, whatever happens first.
