RTX 4090 vs RTX 4080
- Forza Horizon 5: 147 FPS vs 127 FPS (+15.7%)
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider: 179 FPS vs 129 FPS (+ 38.8%)
- Red Dead Redemption 2: 129 FPS vs 99 FPS (+30.3)
- Cyberpunk 2077: 111 FPS vs 83 FPS (33.7%)
- COD MW2: 137 FPS vs 127 FPS (+7.9%)
Now the 4090 vs 4080 comparison are made by two different users with two different PCs so I'd take it with a grain of salt. I do think we can see the two games the 7900XTX could match or beat the 4090 in which is FH5/MW2 while the other 3, I suspect 7900XTX will be in the middle. Overall, good performance at a terrible price.
If you go by the numbers that AMD provided. MW2 should be 139fps on 7970XTX vs 127fps on 4080 while Red Dead Redemption 2 will be 93fps on 7900XTX vs 99fps on the 4080. But again, different tests and such.
Mind the gap, PSU expert recommends how to insert 12VHPWR cables correctly
If there needs to be a tutorial on how to insert a simple connector properly so that it's seated correctly, then the connector should have been designed better. Although since it's only a theory as he tried to miss assign it and it didn't melt, it's probably not the cause either.
