 What the **** are you talking about? Real patriot? I really hope this is some sort of over the top sarcasm. 13-16 years old boys had to fight a russian army. They were send strictly into death at a time the war was already over. They did not fight for their country, they fought, because they were told to fight. otherwise they would have been killed immediately. That is real patriotism...

 

Being forced to fight or be shot at 13 is patriotism? Seriously, please read about what the Russians did. And hunter_alien, please read up on the Nazis. I'm not into all this 'well they killed more people' stuff. Both the Soviets and the Nazis had ideologies that I would regard as evil and committed horrific crimes that I would also regard as evil. Spend the afternoon browsing through some wikipedia articles and you'll see what a terrible place the world would have become if either ideology had become dominant.

Both killed people who disagreed with them, both killed people who fell into a particular group they didn't like, both killed millions of their own countrymen.

 

 I think you did not get my sarcasm. I try to say that this had NOTHING to do with patriotism. And I try to point out, that the Nazi-ideology was and is more or less the worst thing on this planet.
