There are a plethora of reasons why I feel it's an abhorrent decision, but the most prominent one for me is the significantly high risk for HIV and disease. It's something like 17% in the US, and you know that's probably far below the real number. So every time you engage in sex with a hooker, there's probably at least a 25% chance that she/he will be carrying HIV or the beginnings of full-blown aids, and an even higher chance that they'll have some lesser disease like herpes, genial warts, syphilis, gonorrhea etc. So based on that along, it's just not worth it. Not even close.
