haha. Yes, I can pretty much murder the NES titles... well, the first and the third. As an OG, I still don't recognize Mario 2 as being Mario 2. That game came out in Japan. What we got was something else. Fun, but definitely not a Mario game. 

I would say my two favorite side-scroller franchises on the NES outside of Nintendo and Capcom, would be Ninja Gaiden and Contra. My lord, do those games have a way of hypnotizing you. You get in that zone, and you're just gone.
