I hope this Gepard ammunition "problem" with Switzerland will be solved somehow. We can't send ammunition of our own Gepards to Ukraine without Switzerland's permission lol. But Switzerland doesn't allow it yet

Is this Switzerland's neutral stance?

It's cowardly, frustrating and the only way it promotes 'peace' is by looking the other way as people are slaughtered.

Also, what would happen if Germany got into a war with another country (hypothetically, Russia) and they had Swiss made ammunition? Would Switzerland say you can't use them? And if so, what the hell is the point in Swiss made weapons/ammo? Lol.

It's to do with the export licence from the manufacturer. It has a clause saying a to say any re-sales must be approved by the original seller/manufacturer. Most countries have it to prevent their manufacturers from potentially selling on the goods to hostile countries.

In the case of Switzerland, they block re-export of their armaments to active conflict zones. So if Germany was attacked, it could use the Swiss-made stocks that it has, just it can't re-export them to Ukraine whilst Ukraine is at war.
