So I finished Cod Mw2 2022 campaign and got some thoughts.
Personally I didn't like the campaign all that much. The original MW1 and MW2 campaigns felt something on a grand scale where MW2 2009 basically went on full world war 3. Mw2 2022 on the other hand feels a lot smaller in comparison. You go to a few places around the world to stop the baddies from getting the missiles. What more is that Mw2 doesn't actually have much shock and awe treatment that even MW1 2019 had. There was a mission that was attempting to do it but it was nothing like the one from MW 2019 let alone the originals.
There's also this one mission that's known as the convoy mission and boy, I did not have a good time on that mission. Your mileage may vary but you can really tell Cod wasn't designed for such missions and it stayed around for way too long.
The graphics and sound design are great though. It feels like a good upgrade over the 2019 version. The gameplay mechanics are solid. Performance wise I can't say much cause yea it performs well but I also have a 4090 lol. I will say that there seems to be a memory leak on some missions. I saw my Vram % go all the way up to 80% which considering I have 24GB of Vram... Yea hopefully they patch that up. There were a few sections where I died and it resulted on a black screen which I had to end task and restart the game for as well. But overall it was bug free.
There's also a big focus on stealth in some missions as well as crafting which can be a hit or miss depending on your liking.
Overall, 7/10. There was a cocktease for the next one tho which hopefully will be better.
