Intel Takes the Throne: i5-13600K CPU Review & Benchmarks vs. AMD Ryzen

GN not only compares the performance but he also looks at the platform costs. The conclusion is that not only is the 13600k as a whole is cheaper than 7600x, but the 13600k beats the 7600x and 7700x in workstation and beats even the 7950x in gaming. It sounds like AMD is thinking about discounting the Ryzen chips in response so hopefully, not too many people bought into the scam tier pricing.

After the launch of the new Intel chips, and because today was a bit slow, I checked the prices on several stores and all of them had the zen4 CPUs with discounts. Now the 7600X is around 70€ cheaper than the 13600K.

If that's an unofficial price cut from AMD or that all those stores all had the same idea at the same time I don't know, but it will be interesting to see what happens next.

After all, this is what real competition achieves, that the companies fight for our money.

AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT “RDNA 3” Graphics Card To Pack 20 GB GDDR6 Memory

https://wccftech.com/amd-radeon-rx-7900-xt-rdna-3-graphics-card-to-pack-20-gb-gddr6-memory/

Sounds like AMD will not be releasing their full fat Navi 31 similar to Nvidia not releasing their full fat AD102

RX 7900XT only coming with 20GB is pretty surprising to me. Maybe this will just be an RX 7900 non-XT, similar to the RX 6700 non-XT coming with just 10GB

I doubt (or hope) that's not the case, and it's the real deal, the 7900XT, especially if, like the rumor says, it performs better than expected and can bring competition to Nvidia's 4090. With a cheaper to produce GPU and slightly less VRAM (which I don't think will make a difference), AMD could price this one closer to 4080 than the 4090, forcing Nvidia's hand.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
