People have been so laser focused on the 4080 12GB (4060Ti) that they haven't realized that the 4080 16B (4070) is really the 4070. The performance gulf between the 80 class and 90 class cards of the RTX 40 series is absurd. The difference in CUDA cores between the 4080 and 4090, 6656 CUDA cores, would make a solid 4060 Card. |
Yea pretty much. I always mentioned both 4080s as been a shat value in the past but I have seen most people having an issue with the 12GB and not the 16GB. Hopefully now that the 12GB has gone away, people can also do the samething for the 16GB as that is also terrible.
