I smell fomo... the marketing induced kind of fomo.

I do hope 4090s don't go out of stock tomorrow or if they do, they come back in stock soon enough after and stay in stock. Cause if a $1600 GPU goes out of stock, I fear for the future of PC gaming lol.

We don't know how good or bad the availability of the card is/will be. There were rumors that the initial stock would be low to push people into buying 3000 series, tho after seeing the performance jump, I don't think that's possible.

PC gaming is fucked

4090 launch lineup lmao:

And, once again, we shoot ourselves in the foot. Accepting this nw practice from Nvidia won't benefit anyone on our side (gamers), and will only encourage Nvidia and others to keep pushing the boundaries further away from what's reasonable.

That said, the optimistic in me wants to believe that this isn't representative, and that those guys are just there because of the low supply rumors and because they're scared that scalpers will get all the cards and the prices will go up even more.

After all, even the WiiU had a great launch, and we know what happened shortly after. Let's hope somrthing similar, but not as severe, happens with the 4090s.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
