What happens when you move two process nodes (away from crappy Samsung) in one generation. Really impressive stuff though and a great leap from the 3090/Ti. Expected to see way worse power draw, so surprisingly good to see them not chugging down the power. The only downer is the steep asking price.

It's certainly very efficient and uses less power than those 600W that we saw mentioned in rumors and feared, but it's still a 400-450W card for gaming.

Overall it's an incredible feat, an amazing card for those that game at 4K and have the resources for it.

Also, let's take a moment of silence for those that bought a 3090Ti. They've become a laughing stock.

Yeah really impressive jump. Bother in Raster and RT and actually makes 4K with all bells and whistles while maintaining FPS a reality. Going to be king in RT for a long time as well. Still interested to see how lower end SKUs and RDNA 3 cards perform as I'm not going for the highest end card.

The writing was on the wall for a long time, with all the Ada rumors and imminent release. Still can't imagine spending upwards of $1500 on a card based on a 2YO architecture and loosing over 50% value in several months in resale. And superseded completely.
