A Japanese company is less likely to sell their company to MS than almost any other company.  Selling to Nintendo, Sony, Embracer, Tencent, another Japanese third party, hell even the Saudi prince are all more likely.  These Japanese companies don't want to be bought by a company that as of Feb 2022 had only sold 2.3 million systems between all of it's generations in Japan (Xbox, 360, One, and partial Series)

They already confirmed to be in talks with several JP devs to be acquired, JRPGs sell most in the west anyways and these games will be on PC (that has a seemingly large JRPG fanbase). If you don't think a struggling dev will love to be bought out by MS, think again.

Some JRPGs sell better on west, but would be hard to prove that JRPG in general sell most in the west, even more on Xbox. I don't remember a single JRPG being multiplat and selling most on xbox.
