Well, sounds like you've got your money's worth, which is nice. It's more annoying when you've bought a game, have never had time to play it, and then there's a giveaway later. (I'm personally even more hesistant than before to buy games unless I know I want to play them very soon, and I was hesitant before due to the size of my backlog.)

I know what you mean. Especially with the Epic Store giving away games every week.
