Um...I can't really speak for the 360, as I don't own one, but for the ps3:
Advantages:
- Sony's excellent 1st and 2nd party developers, including Naughty Dog, Team ICO, Sony Santa Monica (all 1st), Insomniac, Sucker Punch (both 2nd), among many others
- free online
- Blu-Ray
- reliable hardware
Disadvantages:
- some games have annoyingly large installs
