I stood up for women in my first post, but your attitude is part of what is wrong with relationships too. Relationships work when both people try to do things for their partner, and don't expect anything but love and respect from the other.
I hate sounding like an old coot, but everyone today is overly concerned with themselves as individuals instead of the wellbeing of themselves as families. This is why families and marriages today (from about 1958-present) in the US do not work.
It's not because women went to the workplace or because of cable TV, it's because it became okay to care only about your self.
You know me, people. I am totally against anybody telling anyone else what they should be doing, but I feel no pity for any one who puts themselves in bad situations because they aren't taking care of themselves. Take responsibility for yourselves before someone takes control for you.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
