So based on Nvidia's pricing and now that we know TSMC is charging an arm and a leg for their wafers, I am gonna predict RDNA 3's pricing:
7900XT: $1299 vs $1599 4090
7800XT: $999 vs $1199 4080 16GB
7800: $849 vs $899 4080 12GB
In Raster performance, I think 4090 > 7900XT > 7800XT > 4080 16GB > 7800 > 4080 12GB
Ray tracing will be hard to tell as AMD is supposed to be redesigning their RT cores but its safe to say Nvidia will continue to win overall. I don't think AMD will price it much more aggressively than that simply because there isn't any alternative GPU manufacturers and they need their margins to continue and secure TSMC allocation for their next generation products.
But if AMD wants to prioritize maximum margins over market share, the prices will be imo:
7900XT: $1499 vs $1599 4090
7800XT: $1299 vs $1199 4080 16GB
7800: $999 vs $899 4080 12GB
I don't think Nvidia will be winning in Raster outside of the 4090 when it comes to the two 4080s they announced simply because how cut down they are. AMD has a lot of room to stick their GPUs higher than those but not higher than 4090.
