Pretty crazy the CEO and chair members just nuking the company in spite of Nvidia and not even giving AMD a wince. Can't see them lasting long from being purely a hardware manufacturer outside of GPU considering that sector (supposedly) makes up for 80% of their revenue. So you could be right in that they're just retiring. Sucks for the employee's working under them though.
