I don't have my Steam Deck yet, but as far as I know, since it's a PC, there are ways to easily play Epic and GOG games on the Deck.

Sadly he's not in the mood creating multiple accounts or tinkering his Steam Deck for something. I couldn't help him cause it's his personal opinion, i decided to leave him be.
