The Homeworld IP is owned by Gearbox, that made the last Borderlands games exclusive to the EGS at launch. And Gearbox is owned by THQ Nordic, aka. Embracer, which has also made a lot of their games exclusive to the EGS.
With that in mind, yeah, it won't surprise me if Homeworld 3 follow the same path.
