Sonic Frontiers will release on November 8th, gets a gamescom 2022 trailer
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/sonic-frontiers-will-release-on-november-8th-gets-a-gamescom-2022-trailer/
SEGA has just announced that Sonic Frontiers will release on November 8th. Additionally, the team released a new story trailer for it that you can find below.
>> SegaHeart has made a thread about the trailer.

Well, given what we've seen and most of the tune of the previews that have been published, we know that the game will probably bomb. So, with that in mind, why not launch it alongside a big profile game to be able to claim that it "did worse than expected" because of that other game?

That way everyone invilved in the project can save their faces. Mostly.

MultiVersus nerfs Iron Giant because he's 'dominating with abnormally high win rates at every skill level'
https://www.pcgamer.com/multiversus-nerfs-iron-giant-because-hes-dominating-with-abnormally-high-win-rates-at-every-skill-level/
Warner Bros' free-to-play character brawler MultiVersus has launched to enormous success, attracting over 20 million players so far, and looks set to become something of a cross-platform Smash Bros. (...)
Anyway, the Iron Giant has, amusingly enough, turned out to be so powerful that developer Player First Games has been forced to apply some swingeing nerfs to the character. The game will be down today for a short maintenance period, after which it returns with a new patch that also introduces Morty from Rick & Morty.

The constant back and forth about the MV meta has been pretty funny. So many characters simultaneously labeled as OP and bottom tier. I seem to recall just last week some FGC pro ranked Iron Giant as the worst character in the game.

To be honest, I've posted so many articles in the news about characters that no one liked and suddenly were nerfed for being too powerful, like Taz, or tournaments where the winners used characters that no one else used for being weak, that I believe that either the devs didn't probperly balance the characters during the development and the Beta stage, or that the game is so new that if a player learns how to properly use any character, he/she can simply stomp the rest of the players that haven't taken the time to learn how to properly use all the resources of their... character.

Note to self: I need to find a synonym for "character".

Please excuse my bad English.
