Why would Disney or Armor Project decide to change anything about their relationship with SE because of a buyout? Not like the IP's did spend a considerable amount of their lifetime on PS consoles only anyways. Hell, Enix willingly left Nintendo consoles in the past to go exclusive to PS. What would be the trigger after all this time?. You dont specifically know the bindings of KH and DQ agreement anyways. So they idea they can judge leave when they wanted is a assumption. I highly doubt either the KH or DQ SE ownership gives then the ability to just say... bye. Pretty amateur business decision by Enix/SE.

I'm sorry, what? Are you saying I'm mistaken in thinking that Disney/ Armour WON'T change their relationship with SE? Or are you saying that I'm mistaken in thinking that Sony CAN'T change the relationship between those companies?

Like, I can't even follow what it is you're trying to say. SE has the exclusive contract for DQ. It'll pass onto Sony unless Sony decides they don't want it. I don't know what contractual agreement Disney has with SE. Maybe none. It's not like they have bothered to license out the IP to anyone else. Maybe SE has an exclusive contract on that too. Like, it doesn't matter.

Which is exactly my point: it won't really be up to Sony what Disney or Armour decide. If both of them want KH and DQ to be multiplatform then it's up to Sony to decide whether they want to keep publishing these games or not. Will they play hardball with one another? Maybe. Or Maybe it'll be easy for Sony to convince both parties to move to PS/ PC only releases.

We don't know, because SE doesn't own either of those properties.

Tag this one to cleanup later. Was on my phone at work and I did not that post clear enough.
