As you said, the used market isn't exactly advisable right now. You can struck gold, but you can also get a turd.
Right now, it could be best to wait. Nvidia and the AIB are focused on clearing the stock high end cards beacuse those are the cards that will launch first. Once those cards are out, they'll start doing the same with the mid and low end ones as those will launch next.
That is, of course, if the crypto market doesn't explode again.
