A Mojang community manager has stated that the company has no intention of reversing its implementation of a controversial new player reporting feature, and called for an end to harassment of Mojang employees.
Posting on Reddit, MojangMeesh clarified that, while the company values player feedback, it won't necessarily "change the design principles Mojang Studios adheres to—this includes the upcoming reporting system". They also asked upset players to cease "following Mojang employees around here on Reddit" to harass them in unrelated threads. The comment has received nearly 2000 downvotes at time of writing.

For the past few days, the Nier community has on absolute tenterhooks over a mysterious church in Nier: Automata's Copied City. Posted to Reddit by a user named sadfutago, people have spent hours pouring over just what the hell this bizarre, undiscovered area was. Was this the final final secret? A mod? A bored Yoko Taro deciding to rope us all into an ARG?
Well, after several videos being drip-fed to us over the past week, it was finally revealed in a grand livestream that the hidden area was in fact a mod. While it may seem anti-climatic to some, it's actually a huge leap in modding capabilities for Automata. Until now, map editing of this level has been near-impossible in the game, which was such a big reason why people were confused in the first place.

Bugs Bunny is getting nerfed in MultiVersus

Player First Games has revealed that it is nerfing one of MultiVersus' most popular characters, the one and only Bugs Bunny. But the changes won't take place until after EVO 2022.
That means players have until at least August 7th to enjoy the character as he currently stands. Bugs' powers include the ability to launch a devastating ACME rocket at his opponents, and the ability to drop a safe from on-high.

Path of Exile's new expansion is named Lake of Kalandra

Grinding Gear Games has announced the name for Path of Exile's new expansion, which will be titled Lake of Kalandra.
The announcement, which was made on various social media channels, was accompanied by a short video revealing the expansion's logo, and two crucial dates related to the expansion. The first is the date for the full reveal, which will take place on August 11 via livestream. The second is the official release date for the expansion, which will happen just over a week later on August 19.
