I think you may be underestimating just how deep the shit McMahon is in.

WWE had to recently revise their earning statements to reflect the 12 million or so McMahon has paid in hush money. Which means, Vince used 12 million dollars of WWE's money to pay off women he had sex with. In addition to how gross his behavior generally was, that is 12 million dollars that was embezzled. Also some possible tax evasion going on. Maybe Vince gets away with it because he's rich enough. Or maybe he goes to jail like Martha Stewart.

The moral of the story is, they never get you on the actual crime. They get you for the cover up. 

Oh trust me I'm not underestimating how bad it is, Vince will likely never be seen on WWE TV or even mentioned by name again. The man is radioactive at this point and with the rumors of HBO Sports (apparently Bryant Gumbel) doing a show on him, and other news outlets working on stories as well, this is only going to get worse.

Having said that, he may very well get away with not going to jail, he is indeed rich enough to pull it off sadly. I just would not be surprised if he secretly still sends HHH (who is in charge of creative now) booking ideas and stories despite everything. I guess in time we will see. I mean if the booking and creative still sucks in say 6 months, then Vince might be booking WWE from his home.
