One thing I will say about my Macbook pro is how annoying it is to watch Linus Tech Tips videos and sometimes, youtube videos in general. The reason is that the Macbook handles HDR content very well to the point where you never need to turn it off at the OS level unlike windows where it can be wonky and you would want to turn it off by default while only turning it on when viewing HDR content/playing games.

But what happens on the Macbook is that you can be watching youtube videos in SDR and then suddenly browse to a random video that's HDR enabled and boom, goes from like 200 nits to 1600nits....

This is particularly bad with Linus Tech Tips cause the geniuses in that channel post most of their videos in SDR but then once in a while, posts a video in HDR without any warning. Like bruhs...
