So you must be pretty upset, then, that Sony is going for cheap software emulation instead of including the fully-functional emotion engine in every PS3.

Uh....isn't this what every company will be doing. I can think of another one, Microsoft already does this on the 360 and has only made 300 titles available from the Xbox. I think you'll see Nintendo do it to once they realize they can save money by removing some components.
How is giving you a product that has parts costing 840 bucks for 600 dollars cheap?
