An Intel HEDT with 16 cores when their desktop parts have 8+8 (and soon a lot more than that), doesn't sound like a lot, to be honest. But maybe it's the low-end one and there'll others with higher core counts.

By the way, did I miss it or you haven't posted thge rumor about Zen4's launch date?

Well it is a 16 core 32 thread part so none of that efficiency core nonsense since it's all big cores. But yea, I'd imagine it's the lower end cause 16 cores these days is barely HEDT territory.

If it's from today, then I don't see it in the usual sites I go to but if it's from a different day, then idk, I'd have to go back and check. You can certainly post hardware articles too if I miss any or something that interests you though since I do post gaming articles from time to time that isn't in the news cycle but which interests me.

The article is from Friday:

AMD Ryzen 7000 could go on sale on September 15th
https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-ryzen-7000-could-go-on-sale-on-september-15th
During a presentation in China (probably for local retailers and distributors), a person representing the company might have just confirmed the availability date of Ryzen 7000 and AM5 motherboards. According to one of the presentation slides, AMD next-gen CPU series may already be available on September 15th, which is the ‘on-sale’ date.

Therefore, AMD Ryzen 7000 series would become available more than a month sooner than Radeon 7000 GPU series. This would give customers enough time to pick all new parts for an-all AMD next-gen build.

There's also another rumor about the lineup of the new AMD CPUs, but we already got the same rumor some time ago (basically it's the same 4 processors that launched with the 5000 series, with the 7600X being the lowest one)

Please excuse my bad English.
