The backyard observatory. The goddamn backyard observatory. Sims 4 stargazers will have long lamented this alternative to the series' traditional telescope. It's a garish, hulking thing and looks ridiculous in most normal builds. Now, nearly eight years later, we finally have a much nicer pocket-sized telescope object that actually looks normal on a balcony or in a back garden. Oh, and it can kill you. So there's that.

Redfall campaign progress stays with the host

Arkane's upcoming Redfall, an open world cooperative FPS in which you and three friends shoot vampires, won't track missions you complete in a friend's game. So, if you join someone else's game and complete a mission, but haven't done it in your own world, you'll have to do it again when you host your own playthrough.
Crucially, however, Redfall will save character progress like experience and loot gained in players' campaigns. For many, that will be the only thing that matters.

Starfield doesn't do seamless planetary landings like No Man's Sky, but Todd Howard doesn't think players will care

Planetary landing sequences are cool to watch, but in the context of a videogame, the thrill tends to wear off after you've done it a half-dozen times or so. Because really, there's not a hell of a lot actually going on while it happens: You just strap in, hold on, and hope for the best. Because of that, Todd Howard told IGN that while Starfield will give players an awful lot of freedom, it will not let them fly seamlessly from orbit to surface.

Upcoming Bethesda behemoth Starfield will feature space combat inspired primarily by the MechWarrior series, according to studio boss Todd Howard. That means power management and carefully lined-up shots "as opposed to a twitchy dogfighter."

OlliOlli World's first expansion, Void Riders, has been released on Steam. It sees "skeezy" extraterrestrials attempting to abduct heroic human skaters for the purposes of the Nebulord, and introduces a new alien biome as well as a bunch of challenges and cosmetics.
