Personally I do think Kopite's leak that it will be announced in July is a bit optimistic where as Igor's leak sounds more reasonable.

Richard does bring up a lot of good points that affects both future PC hardware and console development. In the past, not only did we have massive node shrink but cost per transistor prices were also falling. These days, not only do we not have such dramatic node shrinks anymore but companies no longer get the discounts per transistor like they used to. So it will be much harder to get the leaps while keeping a similar price point.
