I still don't know why you sold it so fast. How long did you have it? A couple weeks?
WTF?! I can understand developing something to give us the sense of smell, but why would someone need someting that makes it harder to breathe? It's stupid. |
More like a couple of days. When you buy a product, there are certain aspects thats makes it easy to tell whether or not you will keep it or sell it. The main reason I sold my Deck was because of the fan noise as the high pitch sound was so annoying that it was louder than my laptops fans and that's saying something. And since every reviewer mentioned this exact issue, this wasn't a one off problem and Valve support at the time didn't have a solution.
That along with other problems would have meant that I would have stopped using it and hoped that Valve would fix the problems. But based on experiences, while I am sure the software problems I experienced would eventually be fixed, I doubted the fan noise would have. Especially based on what various reviewers were saying about how confined it was and it needs to be that loud and etc. Two months later however, Valve actually did fix all of my issues including the fan which really is something rare for the industry. Typically the hardware problems are unfixable yet here we are. So while I regret my decision in retrospec, I don't regret selling it based on my reasons and experience. So next time with Valve, I'll be more patient.
Guess if you want the next gen experience of under water levels, that would be a good candidate loll.
