You can go to their website and see that almost all of their job openings specify it's for an unannounced title.  The few that don't are more general positions, and don't specify any game. 

God of War development has been winding down. There have been a number of animators leaving Santa Monica Studios and they are not hiring replacements at this time, in other words they are leaving because their work is done. 

I would certainly prefer if they could keep these guys for the other IP or even circle them to other teams of Sony even if home office work. As we hear often talent on this industry have been pretty scarce.
