Intel confirms desktop Arc will be China exclusive at launch

I have never seen such a disaster of a GPU launch in a very long time.

I don't think Intel could have done a worse launch of thei GPUs even if they tried. It's surprising and extremely disappointing.

AMD Radeon RX 6950XT 6750XT 6650XT Review Roundup

The new refresh cards look quite competitive compared with the older cards they replace, showing almost a 10% improvement in average (it's also worth noticing that the tested cards are factory overclocked, unlike the original, reference models).

Sadly, the price hike, specially compared to Nvidia's, leave them in no man's land.

Even if the mid and low end cards come later, the mere launch of new GPUs will have an effect, making the current cards less valuable and, with luck, bringing their prices down.

We shall see. True cards are still dropping in price. I just see much point in waiting that long if you can get a good deal now. By the time you're in September/October looking for a new card you might as well wait another few months for the 4060; which will trash the last gen mid cards. Heck even current gen high end if you go by value :P Assuming you can get a hold of one.

Like if i have a look at etailers now (in the UK) for a RTX 2060 its still at MSRP and more lol (a nearly 2.5 year old card). The 3060 on average around 25% higher than MSRP.. I don't think 3060 prices are going lower than MSRP tbh even when the latest Nvidia/AMD cards are out. Maybe you can find a good deal from people flogging their stuff on Ebay perhaps..

Another option is look out for the RTX 3070 Founders Edition, which sometimes comes back into stock from time to time.

We all have the mentality of newer = better, specially in the PC world when that's usually true. That means that the RTX 3000 abd RX 6000 cards will lose appeal once the new cards launch, even for segments that haven't recieved the refresh yet. Of course, that it with good availability.

Another thing to wonder is the price of the new cards. With all that's happened and it's still happening, it shouldn't surprise anyone that the new cards come with a higher price, which would make the old ones still attractive for some users. Thankfully, we'll know that before launch, so it will give us a bit of time to decide to wait or jump for a current card.
