Probably just past mid September. Since the previous launches where around that time; the 2080/3080. It will be RTX 4080/4090 launch in Sept.. followed by the 7X series. Then the 6X series after that (2023) and then Super/Ti releases and a 5X if we're lucky.

I wouldn't count on mid range cards to release this year though since Nvidia always release the 8 and 7 series first. And so prices for the 3060Ti may or may not drop substantially when they release.. it may be worth picking up if you need a GPU now (if you can get a good deal) and resell later.

Even if the mid and low end cards come later, the mere launch of new GPUs will have an effect, making the current cards less valuable and, with luck, bringing their prices down.

We shall see. True cards are still dropping in price. I just see much point in waiting that long if you can get a good deal now. By the time you're in September/October looking for a new card you might as well wait another few months for the 4060; which will trash the last gen mid cards. Heck even current gen high end if you go by value :P Assuming you can get a hold of one.

Like if i have a look at etailers now (in the UK) for a RTX 2060 its still at MSRP and more lol (a nearly 2.5 year old card). The 3060 on average around 25% higher than MSRP.. I don't think 3060 prices are going lower than MSRP tbh even when the latest Nvidia/AMD cards are out. Maybe you can find a good deal from people flogging their stuff on Ebay perhaps..

Another option is look out for the RTX 3070 Founders Edition, which sometimes comes back into stock from time to time.
