I haven't played Resistance, so I can't really comment on that one except to say that it's graphics look much better in the pictures above.

However, I'm 95% of the way through Uncharted and up to the boss on the train surrounded by the Kryll in Gears, and Uncharted is a much better game. It's a great adventure story on par with those found in the best Indiana Jones films and Talbot Mundy novels.

However, storywise Gears is just another bland Starship Troopers, Halo wannabe. And it is definitely not deserving of any of the hype it has received.

"Well I've played Resistance about half way and got bored...the game benefited from being a launch title for sure as it doesn't compare to best FPS games that came out around the same time or a bit later. I played the Uncharted demo only and the demo looks great. There is nothing interesting about the game to me however...average looking guy thats kind of an asshole gets his plane shot down(rightfully so as he is an asshole) on an island with locals that have weapons. What happens next? I don't really care...

Gameplay wise he obviously spent some time with Lara Croft and picked up her moves as well as learned some cover techniques that he saw in Merceneries or Gears..."
