The soldiers look and act just like bulkier Sam Fisher clones, and although the scene in the picture above for Gears is well-lit making it look better, most of the game actually takes place in dark environments where you can't really tell if the graphics are good or not...most of them don't impress me much more than the last gen XBOX game Max Payne, and for some reason the makers of Gears thought that the fact that they could get a significant portion of their game to only use 2 colors -- black and white -- was a wise artistic decision which I don't find to be the case. |
