No problems for me. 60gig European model.
If it is a data corruption on the hdd problem it could take quite a while to figure out exactly what the corrupt data is and why it happened. I would assume its to do with user added content, otherwise sony should have picked it up during testing. Perhaps adding a scan of the hard drive onto the firmware install to check for errors.
