I don't know, what do you like doing more (console or PC)?
Also, how much would you have to upgrade?
I'll just do a quick breakdown off the top of my head.
360 - initially cheaper than PS3, but you have to pay for Xbox Live and stuff like a hard drive (Arcade or upgrading to a 180gig HDD) or the dongle for wireless internet can be a little on the expensive side. Oh, don't forget that many of it's top games will be coming out to PC if they haven't already and others would be likely to come to the PC too (ex - Gears of War, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Lost Planet, Halo 3, Fable 2 ect).
PS3 - More expensive than the 360, but it's feature list is nice for a media hub (blu-ray, video, music, and pictures). Upgrading your hard drive can be done with nearly any 2.5" HDD (5400 RPM would be recommended) which is much cheaper per gig than it is for the 360 (ex - $180 for 120gigs). Also, I would recommend an 80gig with backwards compatibility if you're interested in a PS3 and PS1/2 games. Also, you have free online and the ability to use nearly any bluetooth headset to communicate with people online.
PC - Has your online and many of the great games that are gracing the consoles. You haven't mentioned your specs so I don't know what else I can say.
