That's what we want to assume but we have to remember this is the same Russia that leveled the absolute hell of Grozny, the capital of Chechnya in early 2000 because they were initially losing, and where Putin was also an acting leader during that war. History tends to repeat itself. Let's hope Russia doesn't get pissed enough that they haven't won yet and try to pull out those tactics again with this time on Kyiv.

You look at before and after pictures of Grozny's shelling, you wouldn't even know it was a city before. A capital city at that.
