The Planet Crafter, now in Steam Early Access, drops you on a barren, arid world that looks a lot like Mars, and your job is not to merely survive but ultimately to make the planet habitable for other humans. As you explore and collect minerals and other resources, and keep yourself fed and oxygenated, you'll craft tools and gear, build a base, and fabricate machines and modules that can begin warming up the planet. Eventually you'll be able to create a breathable atmosphere and bring life to the world in the form of trees, plants, lakes, and even wildlife. You may start off growing crops in hydroponic tubes inside your base, but the end goal is to be able to farm them outside under a bright blue sky.

Bungie slams YouTube for DMCA 'security loophole' and lousy customer service

Bungie has launched a lawsuit against the perpetrators of last week's "fraudulent" Destiny 2 video takedowns, saying that the removal of community-created videos caused the studio "significant reputational and economic damage." The suit is also highly critical of YouTube's "easily gamed reporting system," which it cites as the primary reason that the attack on Destiny 2 content creators was successful in the first place.

The Forest sequel delayed until October
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/the-forest-sequel-delayed-until-october/
Announced back in 2019, Sons of the Forest is a sequel to the terrifying open world survival game The Forest, which is still my pick for the grossest and most discomforting tree punching sim out there. Studio Endnight Games still hasn't released many details on the sequel, though based on early gameplay footage it's looking like a more narrative-driven affair than its predecessor, which itself was a more narrative-driven affair than most survival games.
Exactly what Sons of the Forest will be may be unknown, but we do know the game has been delayed. Initially set for a May 2022 release, it'll now hit Steam some time in October 2022.
