so i have a friend that is having internet problems. she wrote;
"pedro.... i don't know anything about computers and my internet is f'd.
soooo.. i have wireless and if it says (when i'm repairing the connection) that it can't connect because it can't renew the IP address, how can i fix this? everyone i've called has been less than helpful, to put it diplomatically

i won't be seeing her until saturday so i don't know anything else about the problem but if any of you have any ideas about what the problem is i'd appreciate the input.
