The game could reach 60 FPS and frame dips and slowdown would occur during combat. Another user with an RTX 3080 reported similar problems, with frame rates dropping into the low 40s." As usual with Japanese devs...
Although after looking at Halo Infinite and BF2042, maybe it's just devs at this point... |
Yeah, I saw that thread the other night, along with a bunch of people that had virtually no clue what a 1080ti was and how well it still holds up today.
The only times my 1080ti doesn't hold up, is when it's a bad port job, that and games badly cobbled together (or suffering memory leaks like Cyberpunk).
SE don't really give much of a damn when it comes to their PC ports, that's why they aren't that much afraid to jack up their prices, because they know ppl will buy day 1.
So glad I decided to stop bothering with them anymore, because they don't appear to be doing any better from their PC side (price/perf/settings/port quality etc).
It's probably devs, but I also think it's their engine as well.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
