Washington Post headlines. it also correlates with very lowtemperatures at night in many parts of Europe.

Looks to be around -9C for the next two nights and then it gets warmer again. And -9C really isn't that cold so there's hardly a reason to race against it. For reference, during Winter War temperature was -40C at times.

Warmer weather has been a disadvantage for Russian army for sure, for the reason Barozi mentioned.
